Our Story
Rooted in Somerset, Passionate About Archery
Originally founded in the early 1970s as “King Alfred’s Bowmen”, we moved to our current home at the Burnham Association of Sports Clubs in 1976/77, becoming the Burnham Company of Archers (BCOA).
We have our own dedicated outdoor field, enabling shooting throughout the entire year, rain or shine. Everyone is welcome — from curious beginners to competitive county-level archers.
